My apologies for not replying sooner, but I contacted the company that owns Westlake Shopping Plaza here in Peoria. They called me back today and said that it would be no problem if we wanted to do it there.

I just need to let them know A) if it will be at Westlake or not and B) what day.

that is fine with me anywhere as long as it is on the weekend. I would rather do that saturday but I could still do a sunday but it would have to be an early one on sunday. Got the new hood, spoiler waiting at the painter and going in for paint Monday or Tuesday so I will be good to go after that.

Once this all gets finalized maybe some of us can meet up and trek over together even if it isn't all that far.

Here's a couple other options: 1) Rusty's Clubhouse and Grill in Lincoln. Rusty's is located just off the I 55 exit ramp on the west side of town and located on Route 10/121They have a huge parking lot. I talked to the manager this morning and they would be available for both May 1st and May 8th. 2) Ted's Garage in Clinton. Ted's is located on Route 10/54 in Clinton. I havent talked to anyone at Ted's yet to confirm availability. If we have this in Lincoln or Clinton I will donate $500 towards Camaro giveaways.

good idea I would be up for that. Need to post over on moderncamaro.com to see if we can get a few more indiana people to go too. My big fear is that it is getting closer and nothing is pinned down yet. I have May weekends pretty much taken besides the first weekend but still would like to go if it can be pulled off.

Hey guys, sorry I haven't responded in a few days... been sick, and it was REALLY bad Wednesday night and yesterday all day I just laid around and did nothing. back home in the Chi now. Will go through everything you guys have said either later today or tomorrow. Let you know what I plan on doing and hopefully get to it on mon and tues when I am back.

I am wanting to hook up with some fellow Indy people as well but my weekends are limited (work). Keep me in the loop if you can via PM if you guys are making the trip to this event (or others) after the date and place is solid. I just had to cancel my trip to the C Fest as well due to a change in plans.

Both of these sound like GREAT places, if you could get some pic's of them I'd appreciate it. With Rusty's saying it wouldn't be a problem let's use that as the fall back. And I googled Ted's Garage, and that looks like it is right by the dealer there in Clinton, so I am thinking that would be a better spot.

As mentioned before once this is confirmed, HOPEFULLY by the end of this week if everything goes as planned, I will put it up on other sites as well, but I want to wait until its confirmed... Then if you're on a site and its not there, feel free to post it up. But please, wait until we get it confirmed...

* May 1st weekend is the NHRA Drag Races, Midwest Nationals @ Madison, Il. It would be a tough decision, cruise or drags.
* May 8th is Twin City Cruisers night @ Von Maur, Normal, it's open to all cars so Camaro's could just plan on showing up there.
