I'm about to get the tune download from Vince as we speak! Looks like I'll need to update the GM tune to the latest revision first then load the Trifecta tune. Apparently, GM is tweeking the LLT tune as they produce the car. I don't know where the cut off point is for the "old" tune but I have it and my SN is in the 13xxxxs.

There is one possible complication from the GM update process. Vince says that the immobilizer might get wipped out causing the car to not start. If that happens, it would require re-initialization by a device Vince would send me or, by a trip to the dealership to get it done. He's not sure if it will or not until I try it. It did not happen on the V8 tune so, I'm hopeful!

If all goes well, I will data log a short trip via the interface equipment and send the log file to Vince by E-mail. He will add a couple of tweeks for my specific car and send the file back for re-installation in the PCM.

Then, I'm heading for the track to see what she'll do!

It's pretty cool that tunes are getting out to us forum members since the V6 DI engines are crazy complicated.

Burn rubber!

That's the part that scares me a bit... Not having my car start would be a PITA... Guess I need to do this in the dealerships parking lot! LOL!

Looking forward to hearing how yours goes!

I only had a chance to get one little run on the "on" ramp in rush hour traffic but, here's the video....

Unfortunately, I just found out the track is closed this week! The receptionist I spoke with Monday said they'd be open but.... NOT! I'm bummed!

Stay tuned to this Bat Channel this Bat time Sunday when I can go out to the "Play Ground" and get some times on the Kat Matris and "Dynolicious". Then, next Wednesday nite for real.... sorry guys!
