that has to be one hell of a pole, it's not bent over at all... figure if it went 3 feet either direction there was wide open space and he might have only hit that chainlink fence or nothing at all

Wow, that is scary just to look at those pics, they must all have been flying to destroy the cars like that.

I wouldn't put the blame entirely on tires. The idiot looks like he was going 70 mph through town.

I was going to try to buy the trunk/spoiler back from the salvage company. I almost bought the car back but they wanted 16k to "owner retain..."

Oh well new one on the way!
I have a question for you about your car. I see your driver side window is down in the pics. Was it stuck down? The one i've got seems to be stuck down, it'll raise up about 1/2", then clicks and stops.

Thanks

You mean it's rolled down all the way? The going up and down 1/2" is the window indexing when the door shuts and opens respectively. Need some more details.

Yea dont blame that on the tires blame it on a driver that was going to fast . No tires would have saved that car from the way it looks .

I can't believe they totaled it, the damage doesn't really look that bad....

PS I love how the burnt one is listed as "brown" lol

well, according to my father, at the time of the accident the windows were rolled up, he rolled the driver side down as the door wouldn't open, (hitting the fender), and he climbed out of the window. Now that the car has been home, I pulled off the damaged sheet metal, so the door opens and closes properly, got into the car, powered it up (not starting), and the driver side window will only come up about 1/2 ", then clicks and will not go up any higher. Also the passenger indexing no longer seems to function properly. I was curious what would cause this. i've pulled the door panel off, but everything seems intact, and connected to where it belongs.
