I'm going to reserve judgement on "WORLD-CLASS" until I see if they even match what comes in the Dodge Avenger. I don't care what size cup/can/bottle it can hold...can it keep it cold or hot?

HEATED AND COOLED CUP HOLDER. This available feature heats up to 140 degrees or cools to 35 degrees, utilizing ceramic elements that allow for rapid temperature change. This degree of ingenuity is nothing short of segment-exclusive.

The Saturn Astra doesn't even have cupholders.

Notice that it's sourced directly from Europe.

Of all the recently available options my favorite would be cooled seats, for those hot sweating summer days.

A "big gulp" in your "World Class Cupholder" should take care of your hot summer day.
Maybe they are styrofoam lined?????

Pointless, money adding option. That's something you put in a car because people will think its awesome despite the fact they will hardly ever use it. Besides, when you buy a beverage (coffee, soda, etc.) isn't the temperature already determined based on your pre-purchase specification? How long is it going to be sitting in the car unable to regulate its own climate? Just a thought.

Ok, I'll admit that the Avenger's cupholders are a money adding option. Very true. Pointless? That depends on the person.

I'll admit to being an insane caffeine addict and probably drink 5+ cans of Pepsi/Diet Dr. Pepper a day. (not healthy, I know) Can't stand coffee so I live on soda. With that level of consumption comes purchasing in 12 or 24packs, which I usually have one in my vehicle at all times. I have a 45-60 minute commute each way. Having a cup holder that chills my cans for me would be extremely nice to have (depending on price).

To answer one of your questions...During a typical hot summer day in Texas, it only takes about 10 minutes for a store-bought 20-oz bottle to go from cold to room temp, even sitting in front of an AC vent blowing on high.

To each his own, I guess. Deal-breaker for me on the Camaro? Hell no, I'm not that stupid.

honestly, i don't care about all the little specs and features you can add onto it (ei-> cup holders, seat warmers) all that doesn't matter to me. i'm just lookin forward to sittin behind the steerin wheel and feelin the power everytime i revve the engine, shift gears, and be offf.

I'd love to have cooled cupholders. Not so much heated. I don't drink coffee ( )

But having my soda, tea or juice stay chilled instead of becoming room temp or higher would be fantastic.

if we get an SS/RS does it have to come with the red SS badge? can we opt out of that and keep it silver? or maybe even get customized badge color. that would be fun! woo hoo!!!

The cup holders fall into the same category as the ashtray for me. Not going to be used for what it was named. Probably change holder and cell phone holder.
