I also saw ideas like "well, PJ's could offer discount coupons, donate X amount to charity", etc.....bad idea to expect a business to just hop on board with it. Because in most larger businesses, they have to have lawyers chew over proposals, as well as expecting any discounts would be silly. If the event is to cruise into PJ's, then just buy a pie without worrying about coupons. This wasn't an idea originated by PJ's. But obviously, any support they could give by simply allowing Camaros to show up (without hogging up their entire customer parking spaces- other customers could care less about Camaros) and hang out for a while would be great.

I'm not against this idea at all, but some people need to be a little more realistic about what to expect from corporations. But since the CEO has a Camaro, you never know til you ask.

All Camaro owners are invited- no, ENCOURAGED to some out.

I just put a call into Papa John's Corporate HQ. As I hear back from them, I'll pass whatever information I learn here in this thread.

I would also encourage everyone who has not posted in this thread yet to do so expressing either their support for this, or play devil's advocate and speak as to why it's a bad idea.

So far there hasn't been any negative posts, but I do welcome hearing those too...so don't be bashful, speak your mind!

I think this could be alot of fun for all of us Camaro enthusiasts throughout the land to unite on one day in the comfort of our own towns. Since it won't require much if any travel, it will make it easy for everyone of us to participate. It does promise to be a good time for all.

Once again, please do post in this thread and express your thoughts, either Yea or Nay.

I love the idea. Could not make it to the "free pizza" event last year because I had no brakes on my 3rd gen. I would love to head out and give PJ's some business for being a camaro fan. I think setting up a time 6-8 or something like that would be a better idea. We have a local Fbody club here and it would be a nice informal meet and greet. Keep us posted on the progress.

Yes Sir, I do think a two hour time frame might be the best bet as well. Otherwise it would just be too sporadic. I mean, the point of this is to make a "Get Together" out of it!
