If its true, then it's what I was hoping for. Now I just wonder what the upgrades are going to cost.

Like i said before...... I smell fire

Some of the vets are probably tired of hearing it and even some of the new guys are too. Not trying to be mean but that's how it is with any new poster (not part of GM) that starts posting info that we've been told to wait for.
I can totally understand and I'd probably react the same way if I was one of the vets. Thanks for explaining though.

To all the doubters -- I'm just sharing what I know based on solid info people. There's no need to be sarcastic and cynical. You don't have to believe me like I've said. Just wait for the official info to be released, but for those who aren't as cynical, use these #'s as a "guide" then.

These are the official base prices and you will have confirmation tomorrow that these are true pricing #'s. I'm not going to divulge my source but it's official. It's ok if you doubt it now, it will be confirmed tomorrow.

Enjoy your ordering!
That's more expensive than what we were all originally thinking for the base SS. I was hoping for no more than $29,000 to be competitive with the base Mustang V8..

Didn't FBodFather say pricing for the SS would start under $30,000?

How much you want to bet that this thread will have about 5 pages about people ranting about it in about 1 hour.

Anyways HOW did you get this information? did some guy at the grocery store slap a sticky note on your back that read the prices of the 2009 camaro?

And i don't think it will be super close to the mustang becuase hte camaro has about 25 more features than the mustang and it simply has to be more expenisve but i would say base=21,995 ans base ss= 29,495. I don't know if you are telling the truth but you are in the ball park but its easy to guess in the ball park.
