My AC cools great! The only problem I have is that I can never seem to aim the driver's side vent towards me without freezing all the fingers on my left hand...

I drive underhand... hands at about 7 and 5 on the wheel. Gives me plenty of room for the airflow. This is what I did in my previous cars too. I only change up my hand position when driving my employer car. Haha.

It's the cooling that seems a bit weak. The temps here have been mild, so I've been wondering how much I'll suffer in the summer. Fortunately, I usually like to ride with the windows down.
My blower is fine its just the air its not as cold as my dads work car (10 year old camry) His cars crazy cold...

Just curious, how high do you guys run your fans? 1/4 or below, 1/2 or on full?

and does this make a difference to how effective your cooling is?

the heat index in Savannah during the summer is usually around 105..........the a/c works great! The recirc stays on the entire time too.

Ditto here in Texas. It's full blast when I first get in and steadily turning it down as it begins to freeze me out. No complaints at all.

Mine works good. There are days when temps in Texas get up to 95 degrees and it takes a few minutes to cool it down when its been in the sun all day. Other than that its works good and sometimes freezes me out. Although dont know if anyone else has been told this but I took mine to dealer for a routine oil change and they told me there was a recall out on the A/C system. Something to do with the computer component. I have yet to take it but plan on doing it soon. Will post when I find out more info.

It's been crazy hot (over 110) lately and I typically run it at full blast for about 10 minutes and then turn it down. All my GM vehicles have had great AC's.

A problem I have is when I run it on recirc, it stinks to high heaven when I start up. Like my gym socks. Ugh. Without recirc, no issue.

Maybe don't hang your gym socks over the air vents to dry out after you work out ?

You know I kept smelling that same kinda smell in my Camaro. I run the recirc button all the time. I just thought someone with stinky feet had been in my car but maybe there is more to it. Glad I'm not the only one that noticed this. Wonder what it is? Needless to say I just bought a new air freshener so I dont notice it as much anymore.

If you have a smell, the drain tube could be partially clogged and it is mold you smell due to water not draining out completely.

After reading this thread, I will take mine in to check the AC. Seems, to work well, but not as cold as it should be expecially for a new car. Considernig, how these companies operate to make money, they probably only put enough refrigerant in the AC to test and make sure it's functional.
