Welcome to the looney bin - er, old farts thread, Sam!

PS - I'll be 44 next month....
I turned 44 in June and my baby was my bday present to myself. I was calling it my midlife crisis but some smart lady on this site told me I need to call it a midlife reward...thought that was good advice....besides that means we still get a crisis. lol

Our Camaros are not mid-life crisis, especially if we've had them in the past....just at the time in life where we can afford them again.......

Besides, I'm pretty sure most of us ladies know more about cars than some men we know. Heck my salesman told me I knew more about the Camaro than any of his salesmen....... Not a good thing...........

hahaha sooo true. I got my first camaro at 17 and then went about 10 years without one until the kiddos could get in and out of the back seat without help. lol... My salesman was amazed too that I knew about cars and more than that could drive a stick...lol too funny. Glad to have other ladies with the same passion for cars...it's tough to be a female motorhead we are often misunderstood.

Thanks guys. C5 always helps. My comrads always have an ear to listen or a word of cheer. It is just that last year on my birthday I found out my mother was dieing with cancer, then lost her before Thanksgiving. This year the day after my birthday & have to take my dad to an assisted living facility due to altzheimer's. Lots of other stressors also are not helping. I have just been in a sour, rotten, bitchy mood. I know it is not the end of the world & I will get through it, just sucks, that's all.

My parents are both gone now. Dad in 96, mom 2 1/2 years ago. Miss them terribly still at times :(
My son made a memory lane sorta video today, pics of my mom and dad, alone, together, and with family. Made me well up, but I'm okay with that.

Enjoy him while you still have him, don't matter what day news comes along, it's just one day out of 365.

Thanks again friends. It always helps to have a little support, understanding & well wishes. I'm glad I have this community. I feel some better for the moment. I went to my dance/exercize class (one of my C5 friends calls it my "dance your A$$ off" class - LOL) then came home & had a bubble bath. I sure dread tomorrow though.
