Ok Ok, I am just posting this to make myself feel good. I placed my order on August 13th, 2009. I ordered a Summit White 2LT with a manual 6 speed. I pushed my salesman to confess if they had no allocations and he basically stretched the truth and told me he had an allocation. For 5 weeks he could only tell me that it was at 1100 and he knew of no further information. 6 weeks after the initial purchase (last week, Thursday October 1st) he told me that they HAD an allocation and mine was going in and my order was in the 2000's... this week after alot of my pushing, I got my bench order number and was told the car was at 3000 now.

My bench order number is: NNHWNW

I immediately called GM Canada, yes, this is a Canadian order, and they told me that my car was set for production on November 23rd... I should now expect a Christmas present instead of a Holloween treat. *SIGH*

I am not even sure why I posted this post as it's futile. I hope at least someone got a kick out of my Canadian story. I still wonder why it cannot be tracked as the US orders can AND the 2010 Camaro is being MADE in Canada! Strange days indeed....
