Rick, thanks a lot for the deal on the rim. Nice silverado, silver is flipping sweet. Want the exact same truck in a regular cab, for the next build... Maybe flexible on color somewhat... Prolly should start with a 4.8 and 4 Spd tranny though... It'll all change any way, so why pay the fiddler...

That would be cool...there is a Joe Gibbs '05 Silverado up here that is supercharged. It is a 5.3. AWARD installed the SC. I almost bought it whenb it was still there...kind of wish I had. A reg cab ... built... would be

.

Drove through tonight, didn't see it, maybe someone drove it home. After checking, both 4.8 and 5.3 come with vvt and the new 6 speed auto, so, 5.3 it is... When my ss is gone. No rush though. Gonna shoot for a 5.3 with just a whipple or turbo, maybe a small cam. Aim'd at 11.50-12.00 1/4.
