I honestly dont know how Government is getting away with this.....there are alot of people....even here on C5....that are directly impacted by what is going on.

I am hoping for good news next week...for all hands.

I think things are gonna come around asap. There are too many eyes on the situation and
without getting into a polical debate, I dont think that any Preaident would allow something like this to go on longer than one paycheck.

At least Im tryin to be optimistic.

It is sad they are playing "hard ball" with peoples lively hoods to get their message across. But most of them are not willing to risk their careers by holding back pay from so many people.

I am hoping too that this gets over quickly so you dont ahve to worry.... there is more important shit to care about then if the government is going to screw you over again.

Maybe we should hold Congress' paychecks and see how they like it! When Jim was active dute this effected us twice in his career...keep in mind that this effects all of the government contractors too!!! There will be alot of unpaid days coming up that won't be made up for when the government gets back up and running!!!!!!!

the 27th amendment states "Prevents laws affecting Congressional salary from taking effect until the beginning of the next session of Congress"

Sounds like a big scam to me

Church Tom. It's what it's always boiled down to.

I also love hearing folks blame one person for the whole ordeal....that's my favorite part of all of it.

Like one person in America has that much influence and can impact the entire Military Pay System....

Anyhow, I better get out of here before people start throwing Tomatoes.

Got a used stock one for 70 bucks, the only aftermarket one I like is the havoc. I can't justify spending $500 on that thing.
