I think I'll be using him at those prices you could get the car repainted lol
I'll second that price range with a guy we use here in Lawrenceville @ Mundy's collision. Jason Mundy owns the shop and is a fellow hot rodder himself. They do a superb cut / buff / polish / wax job for around $200 and are our go-to body shop for any sort of body work whether it's detailing, paint work or customization.

A quick test to confirm this is jacking up the rear of the car so the tires are in the air and not under any sort of load. Crank the car, attempt to put it gear. If it starts turning the back tires as you're trying to jam it in gear that is your problem.

What clutch setup do you have? Either way the trans will have to be pulled to fix this problem.
Psh, what do you know?!!?

I sent him a message earlier saying I thought it was a slave cylinder/throw out bearing issue. Glad to know I was at least on the right track!

Installed it would look like the 3rd photo down with your choice of knob.

Just picked up a set of new Kooks headers. Got a really good deal on them, but am missing connection pipes. Any have an extra set laying around that connect to the factory exhaust? I tried Ken and his are slip fit, so they won't work. I'd prefer cats, but will take off-road pipes.

Tried to get in touch with Mundy (based on your recommendation last time I was at your shop), but no luck...

I'm pretty sure with Kooks headers you have to use their connection pipes since its the ball and flange type.

However, you could gamble and see if you could get some cheap OBX cats (supposedly kooks clones) but I dunno if they would fit.

Also, I may be completely wrong that you have to use kooks connections pipes...I'm wrong a lot.

From what I've seen I think it has to strictly be Kooks connection pipes for it to work. Seems like everyone else uses the slip fit connection with a band clamp. I can get some off-road pipes for $210 shipped from Apex or JDP and probably less from Maryland Speed, but I'm cheap and want to go the find it on here route first lol

Thanks for offering to help, but that ship has sailed for now...good to know there is another highly recommended shop (Mundy).

I'm leaving the car with Atlanta Auto Salon next week while I'm out of town. I checked around (including Mundy's prices on their website) and I got a fair price for the work they're doing (and take the price range I gave earlier with a grain of salt...I could be wrong about the price of a basic wash/clay/buff/wax).

I'll share some photos after I get back next Saturday!

Does anyone have a good driveline place that will install my 3.91 gears for less than $1000? Augusta is sucking right now and I don't want to do it.
