..oshi-

If they tune the exhaust like the Edge I'm driving and mimic Chevy's decision to go dual tip on both V6 and V8...

Decisions just got even harder to make.. and I'm not waffling here. In a 4200lb vehicle the new Cyclone motors are insanely responsive. They just need the right transmission.

Just because its a fast car doesn't guarantee a win on race day!

We already knew the 3.7-liter V6-powered 2011 Ford Mustang has a power output of 315 HP at 5,250 RPM. Sources now tell us peak torque will be 275 lb-ft at 3,500 RPM. Camaro-comparo graph below.

When the folks at The Mustang Source dropped power output numbers on the both the "Coyote"-powered 2011 Mustang GT and the 3.7-liter V6-powered 2011 Mustang, we'd only heard what horsepower would look like. And it looked strong — a Camaro V6-killing 315 HP.

Now sources have leaked to us the torque numbers and they're set to provide the same kind of a smack down — 275 lb-ft of torque. While that bests the 2010 Camaro V6 by merely 2 lb-ft, as we all know, the muscle car wars have always been a game of whipping power numbers out of your pants. So on the budget side — Ford's V6 looks like they'll win this round. Here's a quick graph we've worked up to show you the full secretary car tale of the tape

Yep you gotta be able to drive. The week after I got my TT Foxbody and took it to the track, my homeboy ran the 1/4 in about 15 flat. He smoked the tires and went downhill from there. Thank God for practice, we do much better now.

haha, sounds good now. We will see the price and actual production model's numbers. With the price difference alone it won't be worth it. Not to mention the styling and appearance between the two its almost a joke. The Camaro is killing now, and will remain killing the Mustang. Even if they do get the power in production models what about the most important thing to the average consumer, the Fuel Economy! You really think a 3.7l will get 29+ mpg vs. the 3.6l direct injection! I doubt it, highly! So nothing to be intimidated about. There was no use of even posting this. So what if they do succeed? With the price difference in a 35k+ v6 Mustang and my amazing 33k after t ,t ,and l 2LT/RS/AUTO 2010 Camaro I will just add a few mods like a CAI for the. remaining price difference and outsource the Rustang!!! I will end up with better performance and better fuel econ than Ford could ever give me for the price of their piece of crap!
