Sorry I don't have a better quality image. Does anyone have any interesting tech articles on this engine?

I wonder if they can get more than 505 hp out of it and pass smog ? I guess it would have to rev to 7K like the LS7. Since it is OHV, they can squeeze it into a mustang and it probably will not burn a ton of oil ...

That would be a great upgrade motor for the Raptor over the EcoBoost they have now - back to V8 Thunder!!!!

Clearly had to be a pushrod engine to make any real torque, I noticed how they advertised that as "cam in block to reduce height and width"

Generally speaking, you're going to get a bit more torque for every litre of displacement with an OHC design than you will with pushrods. But pushrods allow for more displacement within a given external size, which more than compensates for the lower specific torque of the design.

How he refers to the mustang owners with high expectations as KIDS. Lol No offence to mustang owners . As far as him speaking about the fuel economy as efficient and inefficient you can look up what the law states on the gas guzzler tax and it does not pertain to pick up trucks and SUVs no matter how large the displacement is it's a loophole that Ford it's taking advantage of.

Electric Camaro Concept Car...
Don't know if this is posted elsewhere on C5 as I only frequent the Z/28 section. While I'm no fan of electric vehicles at this stage of my life this does pose an interesting dilemma for the future...maybe add an high quality stereo for exhaust notes. https://www.foxnews.com/auto/chevys-...an-do-wheelies

https://www.autoblog.com/2019/03/24/...500-v8-engine/ That would be a better performance choice than an engine designed for 14,000 pound GVWR and up vehicles.

I wonder if there’s any possibility of a Silverado ZR2. I don’t get why GM hasn’t done any real off road packages for the full size truck.
