So, is the question, what kind of group does ACE5 want to be? I have thought about something that may help as we decide. Maybe we could have a calander of events that we could all contribute to. This way, we could all see what's coming up and plan for what events we can make. Is there something like that on Facebook?

Just throwing out ideas, here.

Sorry i didn't make the BBQ,, but had to work. Glad ya'll had fun!!
We should keep ACE5 "free" and "separate", and open to those who want to step up and organize events as they come up. We could let more people be "ring-leaders" this way....

Good or bad.....
That's just my .02

I agree with you.

Coleman, I like the idea of a calendar of events.

We defintley do not need 20+ members to show up to have a good time.

Hell, Francisco, Mike and Sheri (sp?), and I had a good time when we did a last minute dinner/fireworks on the 4th.

So you could always just throw some event on the calendar...and whoever shows up does.

Of course, bigger events would need more planning.

I agree! Ya know we have already done several events as a group at kinda the spur of the moment! We can transfer some of these meets to next year around the same times and maybe try to add some in between! That way we have a calendar of events!

That WAS NOT someone from ACFA, that was the organizer of the F-body Gathering. His name is Chad, and he's actually a nice guy....The purpose of the 2 organizations are polar opposites. Fbody gathering is pretty much a car show with vendors and a big party once a year. ACFA actually has planned events each month, sponsors a car show and gives to a charity. Like I said, I will participate in both, but we could learn a lot from them in terms of organizing.
