I really would like getting together on Sunday mornings once a month to have the rest of the day available and really like to see cool rides but as most of you will agree, C&O is out of control. As boring as I've become since my IROC days, getting up at 4AM just to get a spot is ridiculous.

So, I had an idea. As I was driving to the last one, I saw a relatively empty parking lot about a quarter mile from C&O. It's walking distance to the main C&O spot, and pretty visible to Wynward (for the "display" factor).

So the idea is to meet there instead of at C&O on the same dates, but closer to 8AM or whenever it makes sense for most. That means we could hang out, talk, and walk across the street to C&O and see the other people struggle in the mess.

In order to make this happen, I need to have at least five people committed. The last thing I want is to spend time coordinating for me to be the only one there stuck waiting. If you are interested in being one of the five, PM me. If I get five commits, I'll coordinate and post it on here and experiment on the next C&O which I think it's on Sunday, Sept 7th.

Agreed ... and more like Coolray Field. I don't know why organizers don't opt for a larger more open area, it's obvious they need to upgrade.

Coolray would be great. However there's a lot of construction underway that consumes much of the parking lot.

So ... a couple days ago a customer rolls in to pick up his computer. I don't think he's on here though.

Older gentleman, I'm guessing 70ish maybe?? He reminded me of "popcorn", the moonshiner. Complete with the hat and beard.



Anyway ... I was a bit amazed at his ride. A ZL1 ... complete with handicap tag and what looked like a wheel chair carrier attached to a hitch on the back lol. Should have snapped a pic.
