My best dyno was 307 hp and 312 torq, completely stock when done with 20,000 miles on the engine. I just added the flowmaster cat back and a Halltech CAI, will dyno again here in a few weeks to see what this did.

Well ran mine today finally...peak HP numbers were at 384 during my 3rd pass but here's what it was after getting the A/F all properly adjusted. Still satisfied with my numbers considering pretty basic bolt ons.

I recently had a supercharger installed. To go along with that, last week I also swapped out my Cold Air Inductions intake for a Roto-Fab intake as advised by my shop (IPS Motorsports).
I now have the new dyno numbers with the Roto-fab intake: Max hp = 500.07 Max torque = 502.65 Below is the dyno sheet showing the two runs after tuning with the new Roto-fab intake (red curves). Also, shown for comparison, is the dyno curve from September when the CAI intake was still in the car (max hp was 494). As you can see, I gained some hp with the Roto-fab. Although the max power gain was only about 6-7 rwhp, what is particularly evident is the 25 to 30 hp gain through the mid range of rpms (where I most often drive). What is most important is that the car just feels quicker. I have nothing but good things to say about the CAI intake that was in my car. It was my first performance mod and it was a very good way to go with my car at the time. (At that time I was not seriously considering a supercharger... oh how things have changed.) However, with the supercharger, I think the Roto-fab was a good way for me to go. I also like the appearance of the black Rotofab with my engine bay. It is a better fit with the other pieces I've installed. I included a pic of my engine bay too. Thanks to IPS Brandon who recommended this modification when I asked him about intakes. |

Just got done with the Dynojet Test SAE: 317 rwhp & 360 rwtq
I'm not sure why horsepower stays about the same and while torque went up about 40. An expert told me a tune will solve the low HP issue. Using 20% lost at the wheels): 317rwhp/0.8=396hp & 360rwtq/0.8=450tq MODS: -AEM Intake -Doug Thorley Shorty Headers -Doug Thorley Catback w/ x-pipe, -JBA High-Flow Cats -No-tune INFO: -25,000 miles -93 Octane -L99 Automatic 6 -Open hood w/ fan -weather: 72 F degree, 29 in-Hg, 47% Humidity *UPDATED* Here is a new result folks. I went to a Mustang Dynamometer this time. Another Dynojet machine is 1 hour away so that's not going to happen. INFO: Open hood, no fan. MAX: 331rwhp with WCF 346rwtq with WCF AFR=14.8 timing=21 Compared with another L99 stock dyno result that was stored in the shop database. MAX: 316rwhp with WCF 335rwtq with WCF AFR=14.8 Gained: ~ 15rwhp & 11rwtq.

Just curious, how many of you Dyno test with: 1) TRAC-OFF; 2) Competition mode; 3) Normal; Or it doesn't matter because the result will come out to be the same ?
