When I first got my Camaro it came with a mounted front plate bracket and 4 holes in the facia. I ordered a new bumper cover and had it painted to match exactly, unlike the factory one. I swapped the front bumper covers in my garage in about 45 minutes but it was a pita. At least I know how to, that's the key thing.

The only part that bothers me was that it's so annoying to take off and the grill is a 30 second swap

Yep, uninstalling the other grill and parts on the bumper to put on the new one was a pita too.

What other parts? The only thing to take off is the safety in the center and that's just 2 clips, I literally swapped my grill in less then 5 minutes

Yep thx for vid. Made me decide not to try it myself lol. Didn't know you had to take whole front bumper off. Or at least not a project I'm going to undergo until I get a little more car savvy.

.
I am refering to the upper grill, lower grill, DRLs, bezels, mailslot. I had to swap everything from the stock bumper to the new bumper before installing it. I still have to install the plastic rivets that go along the top trim of the bumper under the hood. I don't have the tool for this.

Oh that must of sucked lol, well for those rivets you really don't need that tool, I used a flat head screw driver and they came right up

That's strange, the only thing I can think of is the H grille isn't snapped in right? that may be causing the front fascia to flex a little... I can't imagine your hood moved....

Taking the bumper off was the crazy easy part of the whole grill swap for me. I swapped the OEM for a ZL1 grille.
