I talked to Darth Camaro last night... Basically what happened is he made a thread to see how much interest he could get for the Hypertech tuner. While there was a lot of interest the thread got way off topic and then people just started talking about Trifecta.... while in the mean time he was back in contact with Hypertech to show them this thread to prove there was interest... When he called them back they said it looked like everyone just wanted Trifecta and wasn't open to other options.

Just a side note I support more options... so before anyone takes it out of context I'm not trashing Trifecta or Hypertech in anyway.

I want more options... That kinda makes me mad. I have been fighting for more options as well...

I agree and it's hard to keep threads like this on topic. Some people look at it as having more options the better, others want to stay with what they have or know will work instead of trying something new.. For the sake of a thread like this people should keep it on topic, but it's a free country and people will do what they want to do. He never asked for anyone's opinion on any other tuning software or why Hypertech shouldn't waste their time on this.... he really only asked for the support to show there was interest so I guess next time erveryone should

Ahhh.... redemption! My wife says I have a temper. I told her she was wrong. You know I went through all the v6 tune threads and it the same people, just jumping from thread to thread. Why the hell would you do that? If you got your tune, then why would you just trash every effort made by other people, and then tell them that they are in the wrong? I'm still in it for a different tune, or an interface, and I don't give a crap about Trifecta. Talk all day about em, and I care about them even less.some one else said it perfect...." I want what I want". Mustangs dynos mean squat to me.

I agree. If Hyper pulls out because of this I'll be pretty upset.

Well the only people saying they only wanted trifecta ALREADY had trifecta. Also if a company pulls out because of a few people with trifecta bragging on trifecta then I have to tell you I don't think they were too interested in the first place. they were just looking for an excuse.

That would be the equivelent of in the vararam thread when a few guys are on there bragging on their injen intakes and vararam pulling the plug because it looks like everyone loves the injen. Just my humble opinion

I DARE YOU TO PROVE ME WRONG HYPER-TECH :-)

Green, I don't look down on anyone for more options - in fact I think it would be great. Yes, thread jacking occurs but in this case it was more needed. As I stated in an earlier post it is the fact that last oh gosh what was it, Jan-Mar 2010 timeframe that a majority of tuners, including Hypertech, told us NO WAY WILL WE SUPPORT YOU. Now in July 2010 I spoke to Diablo and HPtuners and guess what - both told me they were speaking to Trifecta about utilizing what he did and putting it in a handheld. So what ever came of that I don't even know. I just don't think starting 100 threads about what tuning options are out there is a nessacary need anyways. It has been said 100 times that Trifecta is the only one going to support us.

Also, once another company puts a tuner out for our V6 more will follow alot quicker and the price will be more competitive. So..... I want a tuner and I know we all do... So lets help each other. FLOOD THEIR WEBSITE AND DO A PRODUCT REQUEST. They are working on it but slower, cuz they got more requests for the 2011 Mustang V6. Come on Ya'll!!!!!

GO TO THEIR WEB PAGE FILL OUT THE REQUEST
