How much for the turquoise footwells shipped to 08620 that hook up to the dome light. Also do you have any pics of what the footwells look like. Thanks.

I'd like to just order the cupholder lighting if possible.

The easiest is the power-port version. The t-tap and t-harness versions are pretty easy, too.

I apologize if the following questions sound dumb but I haven't done anything like this before and this is my first ever car - I'd appreciate answers/suggestions aimed at the layman

Could you PM me the price for the turquoise and the ice blue (stock GM color) cup holder in matte finish for ZIP 94087?
If the difference isn't too much, I'd like to get as close to the stock interior light color as I can.

I don't want to get the power adapter since it seems like a clunky solution and I'd like to have the cup-holder lighting come on with the door panel lighting (I have a 2012 2LT) and I would cup holder lighting to dim along with the rest of the interior lighting when I use the brightness control (which dims the door panels, music controls etc).

1. Which type of connection would I need to be able to do the things I mentioned above? T-tap or t-harness?

2. I'm not familiar with what t-tap/t-harness are, even after a little Googling. Going by your note in the first post, am I correct in understanding that t-harnesses will not involve soldering but t-tap will require it? I'd like to get the simplest, least destructive connector without giving up the brightness control and the automatic switching on.

3. I would like to avoid any drilling. It sounded like drilling is only required for the door handle lighting but I'd like to confirm that I don't need to do it for the cup holder.

4. Would it be possible to get instructions for how to install this and connect the wiring? I hope to be able to do this all by myself without any specialized tools.

5. Finally, the big one! Will this void my warranty in any way (keeping in mind I'll be getting either the t-tap or the t-harness)?

Thanks for reading this far and for any answers that might be coming my way!
