I wanted to introduce myself...my name is Glenn. We just ordered our Aqua Blue SS2 on Saturday at Don Wheaton's in Ed. Who knows when we will actually get it!!! Esp. after reading all of your posts on this site. Hot SS, when you get your car can we come and see it?? Will try to make it out to one of the meeting spots. Great pics on this site and

Keep checking this thread as it has basically become the "Edmonton" thread. Stay tuned here cause we usually talk about meets or other stuff on here. Hopefully you will see your car in 6-8 weeks....but don't get your hopes up. Some orders have taken much longer than that. Welcome to the site and you picked one HELL of a car to order! You will not be disappointed!

How was everyone's weekend???? We where cruising fri. night, we where also the only 2010 at the parking lot ??? What's up .. We had to leave at 8 to be back for another meeting ... I will have pic's up next week. SMILE .. :-)

Finally she has some movement, it is on the train and going through Toronto today.

With any luck I will have it by the 15th and will be able to join you guys up there on Friday nights.
I should just pop up there in my truck to meet other Camaro 5 members anyway.

i rolled through around 9ish and there was no other Camaros there....i will have to try to get to that Friday earlier. The Wednesday night one is pretty full parking lot too. i was there last wednesday around 7 and there was 4 other 5th gens! Hope to see you guys around.

I went out of town to Alberta Beach to take my mind off waiting for the car. Its Tueday night and I still dont have it..... I'm going nuts!

I feel your pain, I am almost ready to cancel my order, and buy the one that is sitting in Manatoba, it has everything mine has, but it is the silver ice instead of the Inferno orange.

Ordered Mar 24/09. Was told to expect delivery in July or Aug at the latest. Checked with GM Canada on July 31. No info available whatsoever. No way I'll get it before the end of Aug at this point. Emailed the sales manager and sales gal at Nicholson. 5 days later, no replies. Grrr! This has become quite typical for them. I'm sure I will be happy with the product in the end, but the pre-order experience has been very negative in comparison to others that have already received their car. I hope y'all have better luck than I've had. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Best to wait until there's 30,000+ built, and available off the lot for MSRP during a time you can actually drive it. Looking back, I should have got a vette last spring and had a decent sorts car to drive this summer.

Yup me too....not least because I returned my Charger at the end of it's lease a month ago and have no clue as to when my new car will arrive - i'm betting the day after our first snow....

I ordered mine first thing oct ( oct 13/08) did not get it till end of may, I had decided over a year ago to get it..... MAN was it worth the wait ... KEEP the faith people it is WELL worth the wait... :-)

Wow you must have the patience of a saint.
I only have about 2 weeks left to go and I am about to pull the order.
This site is like camaros anonomous, it helps me get through yet another day with out my camaro.

1100 yup. I asked for an update a few weeks ago and was told they had had another allocation for 1 V6 and 1 V8 and I had moved one step further up the ladder. Well really. I think I could have figured that gem of info for myself.....he didn't actually answer my question of "where" on the "ladder" am I? It feels more like a greasy pole right now....
