Do we have any idea yet on how much this mod will possibly cost? I would love to retain the look of stock but not if I have to sell a kidney to do so.

Looked at the schematic of the A/C and the wires are the same, the radio has 2 more wires going to it and i need to find where to connect in the new wires but its getting closer.
Look to all member if you order parts and try it before i am done please don't blame me if you damage your car, i can fix my bobo but cant fix yours from a here. |

Maybe rearview camera input and reverse gear toggle?

For the 2012's my vote would be to leave these inputs un connected unless they are triggered with a "low" Last edited by intensifi; 07-15-2012 at 10:48 AM. Reason: Make point clearer |

Ofer's retrofit kit already solves that whole problem/issue. You just have to plug it into the head unit and you're all set.

The way I read his post, I thought he was saying he had two unknown input wires to the new radio and had to figure out where they were coming from. I would expect he'll have to create different wiring harnesses for the '10s, '11s and '12s. It would be great if the '12 doesn't need a new wiring harness if one doesn't care about routing the backup camera through the Mylink. |
