Did you order stripes from the factory? Just because you have the VIN doesn't mean the car is complete. Stripes go on after a VIN is produced

no stickers, going paint after delivery

Have you guys noticed that alot of cars got VIN's on the 20th. From a guy in the 350 area to me 620 and yours 887. That is 580 cars just on that day.

I have a feeling these cars will be here VERY soon!

Like I said earlier on in this post, I believed alot of cars were already built, just not updated.

Just a quick update, I got off the phone with Chevy CS to see if they could shed further light on my Bayed status. I told them that I knew it was Bayed, and that I was wondering if it was in QC or if it is sitting and waiting to be shipped. The rep told me that it had entered QC, but she wasn't sure if it "came out the other end" or not. She said that QC usually takes 1-4 weeks. That time frame seems to be in line with what others have mentioned and experienced on this board. She also said that my dealer would know the ETA before anyone else. Most significantly, she said it is currently waiting for the next available rail car to come and pick it up. If that's the case, then hopefully that means that it escaped QC. However, I'm keeping my expectations low so that I don't get my hopes up. I'd like to see my car by the end of June, but I'm not holding my breath too much.

I can't help but think that the stripes I ordered may contribute to a delay. Others on this board who ordered similar stripes, and who were built around the time mine was, are also reporting that they've been Bayed or stuck at 3800. Maybe GM is just being more aggressive with QC on the more recent builds to help avoid the problems that plagued the older builds. Who knows...

I haven't checked on mine since Tues morning, but i know i have white stripes going on mine, kinda hope thats the hold up........... not QC.......

. My dealer said he was gonna let me know tomorrow if there is any further updates...

OK cool, hopefully your dealer has good news for you tomorrow!

I'm hoping that it's the stripes causing the hold up as well. It was mentioned in another thread on this board that there was a huge amount of older build Camaros that just started leaving the striping place after sitting there for weeks. Maybe our cars are being set aside until the older cars get striped and sent out.

, but he did say he seen the invoice on it last night......

,......... no other info was provided???? Its not showing up on the window sticker or tracking list........

Just got a copy of workbench. Updated signature. Car is born. No VIN indicated on it so I guess it is shown elsewhere. Should be on the way soon.

GRRRRRRR..................Checked with my dealer on Tuesday, nothing still 3000, but i have been reading about dealers not getting updates so i am on the phone with GM right now with Anne she is checking for me lets keep our fingers crossed.

man i went 3000 on 4-20 also.....man id die if my car was built already!!!!!!

It usually takes at least a week after production for the window sticker to show up on the tracking list and the Chevy site. Seems that striped cars take longer.
