Stock for stock I voted for Camaro...
Faster accel in all test for camaro.. looks a toss up to me but my girl likes camaro better..
drivetrain.. i liked mustang 3.73 option.. so goes to mustang.. handling goes to mustang..
they pretty even cars really.. just depends what u want
i did have a 2010 Mustang GT on order.. wanted the track pack handling and was suppose to get a factory installed supercharger on warrenty.. but dealer changed his mind when car came in..
I like that ford racing has a shit load of parts for mustang with warrenty if u find a dealer who willing to do work..

Way to go to extremes to try and make a point. I thought we were talking about performance cars here.

I hate to break it to you, but the tr6060 is obviously capable of holding over 430 lbft of torque. If you dont believe that your delusional. Otherwise every forced induction 2010 would of cooked one by now.

Do you really believe your tr3650 is a better transmission than a tr6060?

So if ford were to upgrade your tr3650 to a tr6060 you wouldnt take it?

LOL.

Hey we could go back to powerglides for street cars, I mean as long as they are geared right it doesnt matter right?
pm me if you want to finish this discussion you obviously (once again) are trying to put words in my mouth and did not read my entire post, before i get an infraction for even replying to you. PM me if you want to discuss more. i showed you a GM document and you still say it's B.S. i am not bashing just correcting you on what you think the tr6060 is in the camaro. because it is not the same as the vette. this is a correction not a bash statement please stop talking like you are in a war.

Since the Stang is equipped with the track pack wouldn't it get the worst MPG with the lowered gear ratios? Do they even adjust for it?

Also the NVH(Noise,Vibration,Harshness) it's pretty quite inside the Camaro with the windows up. How are they measuring it?

3:73 gears in a s197 platform is like having 3:55's because of Tire height, rims size, ect. That is why a lot of Mustang owners go with 4:10's because its aken to having 3:73 on previous models...that is when it comes to MPG.

Even FI guys do, though I would not go past a 3:73 myself.

LOL

Good thing we just test/race them on engine stands/engine dynos rather than in cars, huh?

That way, the hundreds of pounds overweight Camaro's LS3 can CRUSH!

It's rediculous.

Enjoy this post, there's no way it's not getting reported but it had to be said.

Rack me.
Dear god that was f****** hilarious. I honestly don't see how the GT won the Performance section. The SS blows it out of the water in at least 90% of the tests.

car and driver biased.. most those magazines are..
read this in car magazine I had.. this is same month not even different months..
one article it goes over the
2004 Dodge SRT-4 scored .86G's on skidpad salom was 66.6mph
2004 Honda Civic Si scored .82G's skidpad & salom was 64.6mph

but in the article they said that the srt-4 had too much understeer and didnt handle good but the civic si they praised saying it handled good.

Im not sure if some car companies pay for good reviews but the magazines are definately biased

its Bias to you because the car you wanted to win did not. Now I am not going to sit here and get into a blah blah blah whats better...its like a Xbox360 Ps3 debate. You like what you like. If one magazine says the Camaro is the hottest car on the planet, others will call bias. If another Mag says its dodge, well everyone who does not have a dodge says bias. Its just that simple.

The magazine are for the people who do not OWN these cars. If you have a Ford or a Dodge or GM, you are already Bias towards that brand. So no matter what they say, you will still buy your brand, and ignore anything said. The people who may want to buy are the ones the articles are written, and yes, having a car is more than HP under the hood. Some people will buy a car and never ever touch it. Others drive it straight to the shop and start tearing off and adding stuff.

You have to look at these articles with a grain of salt. In the end, they are also nothing more than a person opinion, base on what they have to work with. You can agree or disagree with it, but then its your opinion vs. another. Its like a movie. You like it, the critic did not..who opinion matters ?

Buy what you like, drive what you want, do as I do. Just read the article for what it is. A opinion on something you have a interest in.
