First and most important - Glad your OK!

I am amazed by your description that the car actually looks so good and the other car was not in your lap - Kudos to GM for making it safe. Thanks for sharing.

it is fixable. Damage doesn't appear to be too bad.

It may get 'totaled' based on it's newness and the parts availability - or lack of them.

Thanks guys. Yeah it is getting fixed... almost done, finally, after 2 months! The last part that they were waiting for was finally shipped on Monday, so I should be getting it back any day hopefully

I'm really hoping I'll be able to enjoy the nice 3-day weekend with it, but I'm betting next week is more likely...

Also, GM reimbursed me for my car payment today, so that is good news.

Regarding the diminished value, I'm definitely gonna check into this once I get the car back. For some reason, no one in Michigan has ever heard of it, not even my insurance company. I'm gonna check around though once I get the final repair cost. If anyone has any leads on where I should look, that would be very helpful

First off im glad your ok man thats most important.

Second dont give up on her she protected you once she will do it again. Thats your car and in the right hands you will never know it will have been hit. Best of luck when you get her back.
