I keep having problems with this damn XPEL shit, the first time I had to go back because pollen got under the hood, second time i went back was to look at the sharpie marks they put on my car. Now the hood is ripping and I am having weird texture marks show up near the lights. anyone else having this problem? Or any problems? grrrr

Nope. Mine is holding up great. Looks terrific. Your defects are weird. Not sure if you went back for your checkup, but they should have cut those tears off and the push smudge looks like a hot day in the sun rub up that pushed the film a bit. Alex would know better, but that's what it looks like. Remember this is supposed to take a beating to protect your paint. It's not gonna be perfect after a while. You have a 10 year warranty, call the guys and use it.

Hood edge, near driver wiper.
Tho, mine was self-inflicted...

Note to self...
Make sure your wipers are down on the glass if you open your hood..

O I understand, my front bumper is pretty beat up from all of the road rash, and I accept that. But ripping around corners and random bubbles appear in places aren't normaly wear in tear in my opinion :\ And the rips are on both sides of the hood and aren't from the wipers! I never went back for my check up, I had to cancel my appt due to life being unpredictable and was never able to go back.
