I did a trip to Las Vegas and back in them without any issues or discomfort. 3 hours each way.

Still searching for a harness bar.
That looks very nice, what was total cost and how painful was the install?

Also, you mention having a large frame, I too am a larger guy, did you gain or lose head room?

Do those Cobra seats sit any lower in the car than the OEM seats? The only real problem I have is lack of head clearance when I have a helmet on.

Balok,

I feel your pain as I am still in the same predicament. I do have more clearance than the stock seats, but just not quite enough for me to feel comfortable. I have to remove the seat pads when I have my helmet on in the car! I have a sunroof which wasn't an issue before wanting to track the car which requires a helmet. To do it correctly I will have to have a plate made that bolts or most likely welded directly to the floor then bolt the seat to that bracket. as I am presently using Planted brackets which use the stock mounting points. They had to be modified with an additional bracket bolted to them to allow more leg room. Planted was made aware of the situation as I called them the day the seats were installed.

Im going to be selling my Speedware motorsports harness bar, anyone interested. I bought it for $450.00 i think $350.00 is a fair price. I bought an RPM roll bar that's why im selling it.

There has been a lot of sparco questions in this tread. I am literally going to be installing a sparco pro2000 into my 1le in the next two days so I will update with my experiences.

I am going to swap the seat in and out for track events. Reason for this is I don't want to deal with the liability issues on the street. I am also going to leave the airbag light on for track events. I have heard there were some issues with airbags going off in earlier models - resolved or not I really have no idea and don't necessarily want to find out. I also think that on track everyone there has signed a waver and is wearing a helmet. Maybe this is flawed logic but that is my plan so far.

The seat is going to be bolted directly onto a planted bracket (no sliders) so really I will probably have too much head room. But I'll let you guys know.
