Interesting, I was just at GPI Friday afternoon and they didn't mention this. I never did cams on my car. We didn't see much benefit for a FI build and after getting the LF3 HPFP I didn't need to add a lobe to drive it. I'll bug Ryan and see if he can tell us more about this LFX w/Cams in AR

The block is strong. The crank is pretty tough (if you don't spin a bearing). The HPFP is a PITA though, so someone that had worked on DI engines would be your best bet.

That's probably the case. Maybe I can talk lethal into doing it as I plan to have them do some work for me. I guess it's a good thing all the new v8s are starting to go DI that way I shouldn't have a problem finding some one to work on this thing lol

Probe seemed very willing when I talked to them and wanted samples to go off of. We've had very good luck with Probe pistons in sprint car engines built. I didn't get the warm fuzzy feeling from Wiseco, and we've ordered a lot of pistons from them for various things over the years. |

I've talked to diamond before and they seemed willig to go off of samples as well, good thing to know probe has good customer service!
