Had a thorough heart to heart with J Rod and Jr yesterday. I think it really helped for me. Y'all may want to go up there in person and just talk to Jay. Reading through the texts you posted he's skirting the questions. Deflecting. I'd go up there and talk face to face, no cute winky faces via text. If that doesn't resolve it then like said above, get ready to remove the car and take it somewhere else. (I considered that for myself.) I'd hold off on slamming them on social media. IF you're gonna do that, wait till it's either finished or you've removed the car.

If it comes to it, I got a truck if you can borrow a car hauler. Just let me know.

Thanks.. taco may take you up on that. We had a lot of heated talks and heart to hearts.. another h town car came in we heard that it was in and out in 3 days.. honestly can't afford to take anywhere since we prepaid 9000.00 and I bought the kit and all the parts like clutch, gaskets, seals, balance, arp bolts, I supplied all but new lifter trays. Which are like 7 buck x 4.. then I spent 4k on down payment on the 16.. so I'm kinda stuck. Im told it's almost done but we heard that before.

Thanks all for your support nice to have some one to vent to. And thanks for the suggestions hard to think straight when you mad and frustrated.

You are spending alot of money hopefully you made it clear to them it needs to be a priority and that your tired of being pushed around and set a time limit for completion and if they can't have it completed by that deadline maybe your in titled for compensation on the price, and I can relate to what your going through just not in the $$$ department or length though, I had that issue with a shop about 10 years ago on a vehicle that I was having gears installed, and I live in a desolate area and that was my only vehicle at the time, after around 3 weeks I went to there shop and raised hell and got the car done the next day, but hang in there and I hope you have your car soon

Sorry to hear about your trouble OP. FWIW I would not try the chargeback option until you have removed your car, and there is no gray area about what was delivered VS what was paid for.

Here is the way I see it, and this may not be exactly what you want to hear, but this is just my take on it. Go talk to them face to face. Get an estimate on how long its going, to be then add some time on to it for unexpected things, that who knows, could happen. Get them to agree that there is plenty of time to do that work, and if its not done on that day. Pull it.

Its either that, pull your car and take it to someone else, who will charge you also. Or keep putting up with their stuff. Be prepared to spend more money before you finish, and plan on wiping your a$$ with the rest. Its either that or resolve your issues with this shop.

I want to apologize this build isn't going the way I wanted and it's all because the shop I'm using. I wanted this to be an awesome build so I could inform yall on the AGP kit and 416 combo but instead it's been delays and setbacks.

Well its bad news and bad news..

So we went to the shop yesterday so I could be informed of what's going on with my car.. It came in with a eforce on it with no problems what so ever. I lined up a buyer for that kit and hp took it off my car and put it on another club members car. They couldn't get the idle totally perfect so it would die every now and then but it did run good. Hp motorsports tried to tell them that the blower needed to be rebuilt and made excuses pretty much through me under the bus. This made me furious and I missed a really nice new years eve party for fear I would do something that rash or crazy. Word got back to why I didn't go and they called and apologized that they shouldn't of done that. So the person I sold blower to went to peitz tuning that's housed outta Serious HP. He did a vacuum test (which I informed Hp to ck, along with linkage on blower, and to check orings on injectors cause the holes are a tad bigger on the eforce.. this was all from eldelbrock recommendation before we so call send blower to them to be rebuilt) anyway Alex Peitz yesterday tuned it perfect did a smoke test found some vacuum line on blower capped and leaking.. funny how HP told me and chris the owner of the eforce now that they performed this.

So back to my build... they reused my injectors which are Id850s and I have the livernois dual pump good for 800 rwhp.. they worked fine in my old setup and with 12 psi of boost they were only at 70% @ 625rwhp.

Yesterday at hp we walked over to dyno and car is on it the dispatch screen showed 484.7 hp and 560rwt at 4300 rpm at 5 psi boost..

The tunner (s) said that this is with no timing the injectors are maxed out.. at 122 percent.

They came up with these 3 things...

1. Blamed previous shop that they did a switcharoo and they are not IDs.... we pulled one, verified and they are ids but dont know if 850s..they said they are going to call Monday and give them number..

2. Injectors are clogged dirty which I have never seen in my life with my cars I'm sure it's out there..

3. Some kind of valve or something on the hat of the tank..for pressure..

Only thing they verified is good pressure on rail no drop...
Also that there seems to be unusual amount of pressure even after pushing shradder valve in to relieve it..

What the hell did they do..I have the worst dam luck in the world It looks like it's going to storm today I wishould lighting would hit the, ship and take out my car

Sounds like if everything is installed, you may be better off to take it to another shop for a one over and tune, maybe the peitz guy could make you a deal

Id850s are the smallest injector they make, FYI.

I have ID 850's with the ADM dual fuel pump and Andy told me I was still good on fuel at 14.5psi making over 750 at the wheels. I would remove my car and go to someone else before you really start spending extra money. I'm not sure if I would be comfortable going wide open throttle after they got done with it.
