You lose a little top end, it's true. But a tune can get that back. I'll be honest with you, I did the spacer and I do NOT miss the couple of horse power that I lost. I actually broke traction in third the other day. With the extra torque and the cold air, plus the cold ground, chirped as I shifted into third.

The VTC is like the Sprint Booster I bought 5 years ago that 90% of the people hear kept calling a scam. So I have been having fun the last 5 years get rubber in first second and third.

You should see the look they give me after that! :::GOT EM:::
That's funny.

So, VTC vs. VMAX. They both seem to offer the same result which is faster throttle response. Any opinion on that? One or the other or both?

Who told you that?? Apples and Oranges. The VMAX throttle body is an OEM TB that is enlarged and smoothed to allow more airflow. The VTC removes the Lag in throttle response. BTW, I have both, but I wouldn't sell my VTC for any amount of money. It's Bangin'!!!

I got a throttle controller for my 2010 lt and it is far and beyond the best 120 bucks ive ever spent for my car. For being my daily driver it is honestly faster then anything I'd realistically need it for, heck, I still beat around on the silly diesel pickups in town that talk crap about my "slow v6"

It is far faster and accelerates far quicker then any car/truck i've previously owned and the VTC really brings the life out of them by far and fits perfectly for being a daily driver with plenty of added fun and excitement. I will be honest.. I had full intentions on trading up my 1lt and getting an SS the past two weeks, test drove a 2010 SS that was bone stock other then a junky axle-back exhaust. after that i thought more and more if i really needed an SS..... I ended up putting a down payment the same day on another members 2ltRS and can 110% say i am far more excited to fly down and pick it up then I would be if i spent a couple grand more on a bonestock 2010 ss

These VTC's are a BLAST

Those of us in the V6 population totally agree with you!

Never say "Just a V6" SSlayer AKA Ruby has surprised more than a few V8's and some that were highly modified. Congrats on the upgrades. Keep having fun!
