Joe, your build looks awesome as well!!! At first I was only going to do a cam & supporting mods. Not long after my parts arrived I received a sweet offer for my L99 complete. That changed everything & instead of having a useless pile of afm parts I put that money into a new GM performance block & rotating assembly. I sent all my parts back to GPI & realized that it only made sense to give Andrew a blank canvas with the build. The end results with remote tuning are nothing short of amazing.

Thank you sir. I put together what I wanted and am pleased with my results. It didn't hit a big number on the dyno but I built it for boost anyways. So with that being said I'm ready for boost or nitrous in the future and by the price of things I'm heavily leaning towards nitrous at this point but I don't really know what the future holds. It definitely feels powerful to me now and my problem is traction right now with all that off the line torque from the vvt. They say what does it feel like and to me it feels pretty fast especially with all my tuning efforts as of lately. And I also increased my compression to 10.56:1 with a cometic .040 head gasket and put in a true x-pipe since my last dyno which should bring up my power level a bit. But again thanks for the compliments.

I bet it is quite rewarding to do your own tunes. I am having problems with traction also & bought a set of Weld bead locks & a set of ET street drag radials. On my final data log with my street tires I could barely get to wot & she was sketchy @ 130 mph to say the least. That is the worst part of logging on open road as one little problem could have been really bad lol. It sure was a rush though. When Ryan Stevens said that data looked good I was quite relieved as I did not want to do that again!

Today I installed the Mishimoto radiator. Don't really know if it'll make a difference but I sure hope it does because this last summer was brutal here in Texas.

Haha.. The Driven GP1 oil I use is green. It is very weird to see a different color coming out of the bottle and then the oil pan when changing it!!

Today we did an experiment with the TSP mufflers on the Dyno. My buddy Tim at my local dyno shop did a before and after dyno run with and without the mufflers to see how much the mufflers were hindering the hp numbers. We couldn't hardly believe what the results were. Drum roll please: There was only a 3 whp difference with no mufflers compared to with the mufflers. So, all and all, TSP makes some great mufflers to say the least. I would have loved to get a video of all this but I had to have my hands free to plug my ears because it was LOUD!

What AFR changes were observed with vs. without mufflers, and were tuning changes made to accommodate any changes in AFR?

No tuning changes unfortunately. He just pulled them off and ran as is. I'm sure he has the data file for it though. Maybe I'll have him take a look at it next time I see him and absurd what the AFR was without the mufflers.

I actually miss the sound of my TSP Mufflers... My Corsa XR-1 Mufflers sound really good, but i kind of miss that loud screaming TSP muffler sound.

I had TSP mufflers until I got rear ended and bent them so bad I had to replace them.
