Onstars GPS is ok but without a picture of the roads it doesn't work for me. If they do I will see if It can be installed to replace mine. God I hope they don't. Damn!
There are other installation options out there. I didn't hard wire mine, but I did install an extra 12V outlet and hid the cables. Looks really clean, I'll send you some pictures when I get a chance.

Well that sucks. If the last day to place your order is on the 10th, and on the 15th you can see the changes for the upcoming model.

Yup, have it on my Z06. I really like it. If you don't like it you can dim it to the point you cannot see it.

Factory nav. is something I would envy, but wouldn't swap models for it (ahead of schedule anyway). I've yet to see an aftermarket nav that looked like it belonged - with the possible exception of the unit built into the rear view mirror.

after reading all of this i had to call my dealer and ask the question is it worth waiting cause my order goes in the system today, i dont think there is going to be a real difference with the 10 and 11, yeh maybe a memory seat, but if IM the only driving the car do i need it enough to wait??!! the nav and the hud both would be nice but knowing gm i could easily swap them in to my 10 if they make them and when i get my car. i have done hud swaps on a early 90's grand prix, and on a late 90's corvette both i may say were simple, no wire changes just simple parts upgrades i feel this would be the same, as well for the nav well depending on where they put it, there have been some posts where installers have put an aftermarket 7in nav radio in the dash and it looks ok i have a feeling gm would do the same if they are going to do it, again something that is typically plug and play, so for me ill keep my order going forward and if these features come out well something to play with and mod in the future, well just my 2 cents

I'll be ordering mine in the next week or so, no later than the the 8th. I'm hoping that my dealer will take 2K off the MSRP price of the car even though I am ordering it, most likely not though.

The nav screen would be nice however you have the onstar directions that show up in the middle of the speedometers
