The dealer just told me that if I order the 2SS/RS version I can not get the polished wheels? This does not sound right. I want the RS package for the halo lights but not at the cost of the nice wheels.
Thoughts?

Problem with the ordering system. They should be available. They have been informed of the problem and it will be fixed but don't know when. Keep in mind that anything on your order can be changed up until when the orders are actually dropped to the factory in December.

Thanks all. It is understandable that a few wrinkles need to be worked out. Regardless, the car is just around the corner. I just want it to be PERFECT. Not too much to ask...

Just got home from putting my order through, a 2LT/RS Imperial Blue Metallic with Automatic. I was the 2nd person to order out of the 3 cars the dealer is getting.

We were informed when they'd sold nearly 3000 in 3 days. So why no update now that it's been over a week? I'm just curious to know how many.

I ordered my Silver/Black M6 2SS last Sunday. Here is a question for the 2SS/RS buyers just out of curiousity. Does the RS hood replace the SS hood (the air scoop)?

In the workguide the SS has this:
Fascias, front and rear body-color, SS-specific, with unique front grille and rear diffuser,
lower extension, front air scoop and brake cooling slots

It keeps the SS 'mail slot'
