I've had 7 first gens, still have a #'s matching 42k mile 69 Z/28 that is currently being restored. I just sold a non-matching 69 RS Z/28 to make room for the 2010.

How about HAD?
I had two. A 67 convertible and a 69 coupe. The 67 had the original 327 in it. And I still have the 327 block from the 69 in the back corner of my barn. Just sitting there waiting for someone that wants it. Both cars have been sold. *due to pregnant brain* Would post pics, but I dont have a scanner and the cars were before the advent of digital.. sad. Gods I miss those cars. They were fun rides |

Here is a pic of my 1967 Camaro base coupe. Owned it for 2 years, is a numbers-matching car.....327 210h.p., powerglide, 2.73 10 bolt rear. Slow, but still a sweet cruiser. My pic was taken with Kristin, a local TV newscaster, who was interviewing me about my Camaro, which ended up on last weekend's 6 & 11 p.m. news broadcasts. The car show was "Back to the Bricks" in downtown Flint, MI. Great time!

Personally I would remove that added pinstripe and put the OE wheels back on the car. I think that if you get a car that appears so original and not modified you should try to retain as close to OE as possible. |

Two here. A 1967 SS rs 350 all original. Second is a 1969 cloned to look like a SS427 car. Since it's not original, I did a lot of "extras" to it such as mini tubs, custom suspension, etc. It's a lot of fun...
