Your car is the only way to drive a GT500. The stripe delete is a most otherwise the stripes make it look ugly. Love you car man. I'd take one in solid black.

that's awesome... dont think i could have waited for something like that though, the camaro had 22k miles on it... slight body damage, dents in the wheels, needed an oil change, needed new tires, etc etc etc.

personally, i can't stand cars without stripes of some sort but each to his own. one way or another, the car is fantastic.

^ If I ever decided to get stripes I would get the same as yours, white SVT w/ black pin stripes on my silver. I think it would look freaking awesome, just like a Ford GT, light weight Lemans style look but I have other ideas im gonna try first.

svtperfromance.com and teamshelby.com have good forums

Yes HID's are now standard on all 2011 GT500's and work so good that I got pulled over for driving up on a CHP Expedition with my brights on. He said he's never been blinded like that from the rear with his big SUV. I'm just glad he didnt ticket me because I was going about 72mph in a 65 in the fast lane with by brights on so the slow driving tourists would get out of the fast lane and I didnt read the the CHP logo on the rear until it was too late and he pulled into the slow lane and slammed on the brakes Super Trooper's style and got behind me and light me up.

Good point. That said, since we are in the 'other cars' section how do you propose we go about posting threads specific to the Camaro in a section created for people to post threads about every car but the Camaro? (hence that whole 'other' car thing) I anxiously await your reply and am certain that you will not let us down.

Just curious, what motivated you to share your 'dark side' conversion on Camaro5?
