I'd like to go...I may take my TT Camaro or another older car I have...where is this place? How does it work? You just show up? Any registration required?

THE TURKEY ROD RUN is a large car show that takes place every year nov 25th thru the 28th this year at daytona international speedway. typically draws a few thousand old cars. during the day there is the car show as well as a really big swap meet. at night time everyone cruises A1A and many of them park at the bel air shopping center. people set up lawn chairs up and down A1A to watch the cars cruise and many people will pour out water encouraging burn outs etc. it is a really good time.... friday and saturday night is pretty busy up and down A1A and what not.... I am sure there will be alot of camaros and everything out there. you will see tubbed out pro street cars to lamborghinis cruising.

bel air plaza is a parking lot that will be filled with a few hundred awesome cars at night time.

I myself am not entering the car show but I will be at the show as well as cruising at night.

bel air plaza is in the north end of town on A1A.... I provided a map on my last post. if you have been to daytona it is about 5 miles north of main street. it will be impossible to miss friday and saturday night.

some people will show their cars there and skip the actual show altogether, you will see cars with full show displays in that parking lot..... bring a cooler full of beers cause it is a fun night

is brunswick near the naval base? if so maybe we can show up, we have family in the navy there. could be an excuse to drive up

Naval base is Exit 1-6 in Ga.Brunswick is about 30 miles north at exit 29-38

Just Merrill an 9A or the car show in Brunswick is all I know. I however have to goto a work function tomorrow evening and Susan just got sick tonight. So, I do not know what I will be doing tomorrow.
