Where did you order from? And did they have the PAC unit in stock?

Took my Camaro out AM today at 4 degrees. Quick trip to the store and bank. Sorry,
I just can't let this car sit. I'm not saving it for anyone.

Got a tonneau cover today

There was not a tonneau cover in my car when I picked it up. CarMax ordered it and I picked it up today. Installed it for the first time just to see how it looked with the top down.

I took my youngest son with yesterday when it was 4F. We met my oldest son and his family and my ex for breakfast while they were in town for the weekend.

Then I had the kid fill the tank for me on our way home.
It's always nice to have a helper.

Yeah, I had a new one installed last month. Maybe could have got a few more months, but with temps in single digits...

Never skimp on a battery.

Due to recent info I received from fellow owners on the forum, I will not be going with the duraflex kit I so deeply wanted haha but will be keeping the wraps. I'm now looking at getting a Lambo vertical door conversion kit, ACS T3 Hood Port kit and a APR Performance Carbon Fiber front wind splitter to name a few.... I still have to come up with more mods for the upcoming season but I haven't touched on what they could Bee. I'm looking forward to the vertical door conversion which will help with getting in and out of my vehicle.....

Get a hood, Woo... you know that's what you'll end up with anyway, and skip the vents.

I've been eyeing the lambo doors... not serious enough to get them, but just using my imagination what they'd be like. Its for that 'wow' factor, sure. Good tho that it will help you get in and out easier.

As for the splitter... I got an APR splitter a few years back. Those things are beautiful. Its a flat board with a carbon fiber finish. Its truly a wing. If you added a fuselage and some control surfaces, it would literally fly! It matched the Seibon Hood CF perfectly, and I too am considering getting another one for this ZL1 front end.

When I originally got mine, I installed it on the stock fascia. I thought I could get away with not installing the supports... I added what I thought was overkill amount of under-support to that thing and, well, one day, I was on the 10fwy early. All of a sudden, i hear my splitters front side slapping the pavement. That thing puts so much downforce, that it literally ripped both nice size bolts and washers from the bottom of the fascia, and just wanted to come off.

Obviously, the splitter was done. No saving it after that episode... so I moved on to my next splitter, the ACS T4.

Anyway, long winded... good, strong, functional splitter. Don't do what I do and go without the supports on a stock front end. On the ZL1, its flat underneath and up front so it will have the front end stick out a bit further and one could probably do without the support rods. The wind won't get too far between the splitter and the fascia on the ZL1. On the SS or V6, though, it will definitely push triple digits of downforce at speed.

That's unfortunate about your splitter dude, I guess we live and we learn to help others..... Are you referring to the support rods that extend from the grill to the splitter?? You're right, I believe I will have to go with a new hood. My wife doesn't want me cutting on the hood so that'll be my argument to get new one haha... I just don't want to have bumblebee stripes installed on another hood, good help is hard to find. Most shops don't want to mess with them. Guess I will start shopping hoods to match that splitter...

Thanks, and no problem. It eventually led to my front end conversion.

Yes, the support rods that extend from the grill to the splitter. These things are a must on the SS and V6.

The splitter did match the Seibon, so any Seibon hood would probably be a good match to the APR. The fit of a Seibon is perfect too. Not sure of other brand hoods. You're going to pay around 1k for a Seibon.

As for the stock hood. You can do what I want to do and probably hang it on some wall of the house as a trophy or something... put some cool back-light or led...

Then, you can get some nice Yellow vinyl and wrap that baby any way you like... just another project for Bee!
