as jewel said. lol

it's pretty nice! better than I thought it would. I can understand some people saying it's raspy, but honestly, I don't think it's that bad. Not bad enough to get a magnaflow xpipe. at least not yet. lol

I would like to maybe put 2.5 pipe all the way through. I think parts of it is 2.25 right now.

I drove it for the first time today and haven't gotten the chance to get on it. You can hear and feel the air flow.

it's been rainy the past few days, so I haven't really gotten on it, full throttle. From the driving I have done, it definitely pulls more!

I really wish I could have gotten a before and after dyno, but I just didn't think about it. lol I don't even know where a dyno shop is around here. I'll need it for the nitrous.

Sweet! I need to install mine. Still deciding if to buy just the off-road extensions or cats. I'll get there though

Ooh nitrous
I'm starting to consider nitrous quite a bit. All these stretched timing chain stories are starting to make me lean more towards nitrous versus a supercharger kit.

hopefully the hi flow cats fit. lol can't figure out why they would send extensions that are WAY too long. I cut a good 4 to 6 inches off.

I cut off about half of the skinny side off, and a little more than half of the fat side. I should have taken pictures of where I cut.

I wouldn't think the hi flow cats would fit. You cut a lot off the extensions.

Wish we would have taken pictures now

in retrospect, I could have just cut the whole skinny part off, but I needed the clamp to hold on to something. that's why I cut some from both ends.

That's certainly interesting, now you have me wondering if they will fit or not. I know a member here has his with the high flow cats they provide but I don't know if he had to do anything to get them to fit.

looking at the pictures in the pacesetter thread, started by bmorecam, it looks as though they didn't cut anything. very odd. I wonder if it has anything to do with the way the mrt v2 was installed on jewel. I wasn't with jewel at the time, so not sure what they did to install. that's the only thing I can think of...

edit: thinking about it more, that doesn't make sense. lol

the ones in the pictures could have had the actual exhaust pipes cut, instead of the extensions.

Yea, cutting the actual exhaust pipes is certainly possible.
