Aside from the nitrous itself, what other mod or mods from the list would you say have contributed most to your performance on the strip? It has only just recently sunk in to me that my burnouts tend to be a little "one sided" so the SS diff swap has been mentioned by some as the fix to that.

I have yet to completely understand what exactly an aftermarket torque converter does and how it relates to launch but if I'm thinking right, it means you can load a lot higher RPM behind it with your foot on the brake at the tree. Of course when you dump that power, if the parts down the line can't hold it, something slips, hence the DRs, etc. With my foot planted on the brake, I can only get up to about 1250 RPM +/- and no more. I don't know if that's the computer or the converter though but regardless, I launch at 1k on the stock Pirellis, else I slip.

Sorry for the ramblin'. Just trying to get my learn on.

I think the biggest impact mods you could do right now would be a PROPER tune. You have a 2012, take advantage of that. Then it'd probably be the DRs, SS conv, and nitrous

Nice Run, that is a really good 60' too. Looks like your trap speed is down a few mph for that ET, any thoughts on why?

Working on going smaller, 16's hopefully (rim size).

Could be, I tried those and found them to be just to be and heavy for our V6, way more tire than we need.

I would try the Mickey Thompson Drag Radial. Go with the 265/40/18. This is what I am currently using. Get the benifit of a gear change with this since it is a smaller dia. This is plenty of tire for us. I bought the set-up used from a friend who was running a modded SS, and this was plenty of tire for him too.

Yea but he's also running a 100 shot of nitrous so he may need that much tire. Of course I don't run nitrous so I can't say for sure. But I'd definitely do the 16" wheel route if you can

My point on the tire I am running thou is his 100 shot + his HP is no more than the SS that I got my tires from, and my friend hooked up with NP with that set-up.

Picking up a set of CCW 16" wheels with Hoosiers slick. They will fit when I replace my brembos with my stock V6 brakes.

I have a set of 18 inch wheels as backups with hankook ventnus v12 tires, would it help me if I swapped those on for when I went to the track? I am currently running the SS rims with the same tires.

What's the measurements of the 18" ventus. It might help if they have more sidewall
