Back to the chiropractor 3rd day in a row back is better but long way from normal. Cleaned up part of engine bay today changed the oil in Camaro. Took Camaro letters off the front right fender & the SS emblem. Marked out the fender to cut for the fender vent tomorrow. And cleaned up the garage. What a great day to be out side finally.

Finally got off my ass last weekend and re-installed my airbrushed intake lid and aired the tires back down to 32. Took it to the dealer yesterday to get inspection (expired December) and diff fluid change. It stayed home today due to AM 20 degree tire cracking temperature. While there, salesperson told me a story about a guy who just bought a used 1LE from them that was traded in a week earlier. He didn't like the wheels, so he traded with her for the ones off her SS and had some crap Goodyear all-seasons installed. Wanted it to be a family car
To each his own I guess. Think I'll pass on telling him about UC5 if I run into him.

I bought the Monster Switch Panel from Emblem Pros with 12 switches, to mount in the center arm rest box. I ran a multi-conductor cable from there to a terminal strip under the dash. It's like a James Bond setup.

I have mine led lights engine bay and under neath wired to a remote control unit used the grounding bolt at the driver fender and the positive engine post with inline fuse and a lot of 3m tape

Hi Dan - Welcome !!!

The very first post of this long thread has a link to some of the events we participate in as a group, as well as how to join (simple and free) and who our fearless leader and founding members are.

There are other members from the Albany area that can probably tell you about smaller events more local to you, I'm a little too far west to know about those. Next Saturday several members are planning to go to Watkins Glen for opening day to do some paced laps of the track. Lots of events will be coming, many are not posted on the calendar yet.

Post a picture or two of your car when you get a chance.

Hi dan , i live just west of u in ft plain , exit 29 ..iam sorry to.say that most of our stuff is more to the west of the state syracuse area , but there are occations we do a large group in the amsterdam area ...
Phantom lives in colonie. And does a lot of shows and cruises down thst way . Look him up.
Next weekend its opening weekend at watkins , ill be leaving canjo at 730 if u want to drive out and meet some of the gang anyway ..
