Best Strut buy for my Vert

Hi,

Got it off eBay 2 weeks ago, arrived via customs Saturday. I had the time to install it today. 32 inch strut bar, 21 in logo. Measured 16 inches, marked with sm sticky, then marked 10.5 on plastic to line up, to be centered on strut.

I also bought it a set of GTR tail light covers, which I will hopefully get in this week... too much red on the back end lol.
The GTR set of tail light covers sucked! I could not bare to see how badly they cover the tail lights... I tossed them! What a waste...

Went the way I should have gone in the first place - ordered the tail light vinyl (smoked) from Big Worm... Putting them on this weekend, along with replacing my turn signal bulbs with a new set of switchbacks AFTER some modification to the wiring so that the turn signals don't light up like driving lights, and instead the Halo's come on... I just love the look of the Eagle Eye projector lenses when the lights are on...

Damn... I don't think I could ever get tired of looking at your car! I'm not a big fan of aftermarket wheels, but those are sweet...

EDIT: I should mention that Phastek sells these too if you are looking for a top-of-the-line version. Those range from $208-$258 a set, but they are also really nice too.
So these just stick on on top of the existing plate? Are they secure or do they feel like they will come off if you kick them?

I've done tail light vinyl on a 2010 and a 2012. It came out really good both times, but it was a challenge. Take your time. Use lots of soapy water and heat.

No it has 3M double sided tape on the underside, and it is extremely tacky. I made sure it was lined up correctly before getting it anywhere close to the chassis because I didn't think I'd be able to pull it off if it was crooked. At least not without damaging something. It won't go anywhere once it is installed. I did wipe down the inner door surface with alcohol pads first to make sure it was clean. Got that tip from a video on youtube. They also fit fine under the door. There are no clearance issues with the plate. However, I do see that one of the rubber grommets on the bottom of the door is touching the plate. Not enough to impede the door or scour the plate or anything, but I do see an imprint on it. Haven't decided what to do about that yet.

Thanks for the info! I'm gonna have to get these and give them a try. They look good in the pics, especially for $50.

And since you already have the blue LED's in the footwell, the wiring for these is very easy. They tap into the same place as the LED strips, and come with a pre-made wiring harness that works surprisingly well. You will like.

What Did You Do To Your Camaro Today?

Finally after two weeks of waiting and texting a phone number at Vitesse Motorsports for a tracking number or any info for that matter which is very unprofessional..... it's out for delivery, smh. Too bad it's raining here and won't be able to test it once installed....

Thanks... yeah, I've done it twice on this car below. Once after I got my Technostalgia lights, and once after I put the stock set back on due to the Technostalgia led bulbs going out. Now a third time... I don't know why I wanted to try out the hard plastic set instead of sticking to what's been working before.........

Thanks for the advice, regardless...
