Drove and hour and 45 minutes to pick up a set of SS rims that were peeling but had no curb rash. Guy wanted $125 and I confirmed there was no physical damage to the rims, just paint peeling.
I meet him at a gas stain and 3 of the rims were curbed to HELL!
I told him I would have to get them repaired before I can even think about getting the painted. He apologizes and tells me he didn't even notices the curb rash... REALLY?
Anyway, I keep looking at them without saying anything more and finally he says, "Look, you drove all the way down here... Just take them, I'm tired of them being in my driveway. "
So we talk for a bit, load them into the trunk and I go to the local wheel repair place near home..
$45 per wheel to repair and paint them the color of my choice!!!
Going to go with a dark graphite with some metal flake. Have to meet the guy at his shop tomorrow to decide on a color.
All in all, well worth the effort!!

Took it for a spin yesterday.
Well, not really a spin, more of a 45 degree sideways power slide when I was passing a beer truck with a NASCAR logo on the side.

If I didn't know any better, I'd say there was a electrical sub station or at least some disconnects behind your Camaro in the background...
