I'm not new here, just back in a Camaro. Traded my 2012 1SS for a Silverado in April 2013. I started missing the Camaro pretty soon after that so I waited awhile. Picked this car up on September 15. Couldn't be happier!

Here's my 2014 1SS/RS with Recaros, NPP, GM short throw, and Rear vision package. Just did my first oil change at 500 miles, added a mild to wild switch and Roto-Fab. Should be receiving my Elite Engineering catch can and separate clutch reservoir soon. From there, lowering springs and LG ZR28 ZL1 clone wheels with 285/305.

All dealer emblems, rear bowtie, and 'CAMARO' fender script are gone. Next up is doing something about that chrome trim up front.

Checking in from New Braunfels. Recently traded in my gas-guzzling Sierra for a black 2011 2SS convertible. I've only driven trucks up to this point but I seriously haven't had this much fun driving since I was 16. LOVE this camaro...

Any major issues with my model that I should be aware of(recalls, TSB's, or consistently crappy design issues) ?

I have a 2011 2SS L99 A6 -- nothing yet except the seat bolt (holding it up), key recall (don't do it!). Some early model 11s (late year 10) have lifter noise if you have the L99.

I've been modding mine so -- nothing yet! Welcome to the family! I drove Durango and Vans before I got mine -- LOVE IT too!

Great looking car!

I got some matte black trim tape from Amazon I am going to try on my chrome trim Saturday. Will keep you posted on how it looks.

Hmmm...my salesman said to wait 6 months before any waxing. At 6 months, I took it to a detail place that used a sealer wax on the new paint. Should be getting my 1 year wax job done next week.

I'm a disabled vet that no longer does any amount of labor on the car. Installing a CAI put me in bed for a day. I'll be 60 in 3 months.

Getting old isn't for sissies.
