When backing up the other night in an area with essentially no light, it really made me realize how absolutely terrible the reverse lights are on these cars. Not that the backup camera is great by any means, but I think some brighter reverse lights could be helpful.
However after doing some digging, it seems to not only be an extremely difficult task to change the reserve lights, but seems like there are little to no LED replacement options out there..

Anyone else run into this and have a decent solution? I'd deal with the hassle of replacing them if there is a good bulb/light.

I guess you could do a small LED light bar over or under the license plate and tie it in to your reverse circuit.

edit: someone already makes them https://www.camarocentral.com/XTR_LP...DUIj8jEPqD6eso

Had an issue putting the winter stocks on my daily ( 06 AWD RT Magnum ) so i had to pull the cover off her this morning. Looks like ill be driving her to work this week until I can look at the Magnum on Saturday. Its amazing how she still breaks necks at my office.

I swapped to these. Still tough with the window tint and design of the car, especially since I don't have a camera, but they improved a lot over stock...

Technically not today but this past Sunday. Took the Z out for a daytime ride as the weather was perfect. Unfortunately it seemed like half of the Phoenix metro area was out enjoying my therapy route. Folks dawdling 5 mph BELOW the speed limit. Still enjoyed the day and I tossed in 2 leftover gallons of 100 Torco and topped 'er off with some Chevron 91. Good times.

Awesome!! And yeah, what's up these dawdlers that insist on driving 5-10 mph below the limit? And they are usually in a long stretch of road with double yellow lines and no passing, and you are stuck behind them!! Make the drive kinda stressful when you just want to go and enjoy your Camaro. Here in Florida it is really bad on the weekends..

Awesome to hear a first hand account from someone on here vs the random questionable reviews on amazon. Thank you.
I know they won't be a miracle but I'm sure they'll help like you said.
