Thanks Joe! Long story short, I woke up one morning a couple weeks ago to the sudden realization that I just can't financially support the sport that I've worked all winter to get ready for! Ever since Gingerman I was hooked and absolutely LOVE running at speed in this incredible Camaro! However, after calculating the costs for track time, gas, hotels, brakes, tires, maintenance, and time away from my wife, I decided to pull the plug on it! I cancelled my upcoming Watkins Glen driver's school weekend, pulled out of Gingerman (our anniversary is the day before so that didn't settle well with my wife), and cancelled my plans to do Mid-Ohio.

Secondly, my financial priorities are changing as I'm faced with retirement in 10 years with no pension plan. I'm also trying to qualify for a second home in the south that my daughter can rent till we're ready to move down there. So, selling Big Red would go a long way toward that goal!

With all that said, I'm torn about the whole thing! If I sell it that's great financially, if I don't sell it that's great also! I'll just go with the flow and see what happens! Whatever happens, I do have 4 1/2 years of great memories with the car and great friends I've made along the way

Mike I totally understand I have always told my wife if we ever have a financial problem the car would be the first to go. The car gives us a lot of enjoyment but it is a "toy" it is not a necessity if you are not using it as a daily driver. don't get me wrong I live my car and like the head turning it does. and I cant wait to get it our and drive it again. best of luck to you!

Picked up the list of local car shows this year. And they have Little York on it scheduled for Sept. 14.

Nice & Easy cruise starts Tuesday nights May 6.

Mike, you have so much blood and sweat into your car, way more than I had in mine, I feel worse about you selling yours than I did trading mine. But like me, your car is a toy and needs come first, we will always have the memories we made in/with our cars and of the people we met because of the car, it may bother us now, but we know in the long run it is/was the right choice...............Good luck with the sale.

Well I'm not surprised at all that you found a buyer for BIG Red that soon. Here's crossing fingers & best of luck that this is real and goes thru fast. I can't even imagine the idea of possibly selling my IBM. But I do wish you every thing that your trying to accomplish for your Family & retirement. We had a lot of PM between you and I When we first met on the computer doing all our mods. I guess that is enough to say to a real friend. Just better see you around.
