I know we have a busy schedule this coming weekend with the I.C.E. Cream Cruise-In this coming Friday the 4th of May and the Springfest Car Show on Sunday the 6th of May.

Well, we have one more thing to add for events this weekend here in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area... Saturday the 5th of May... the 1966 Batmobile!!!

So you tell me ricks tells me they are going to ship and they dont thats not their fault. Sorry I disagree, if I have a subcontractor tell me that they are going to do something then they dont and Ive told my customer. Thats my fault and it is my responsibility to make the situation correct. Sorry James I totally disagree with you on this one. I did ask for an additional discount as well as sent a couple of unanswered emails. We will see how it all turns out

Quacker... Technostalgia told Rick's it was shipped. They have no control over what their suppliers do.

I'd call Rick's Camaros and not email them. Always better to talk to someone and get a case#. Plus they can give you that discount right away.

On an unrelated note... I'm on a regular, one-man crime spree.

I get pulled over a couple of weeks ago for no headlights.

Just over an hour ago I get pulled over just north of Cedar Falls for no front plate. Must have been a slow day for the State Patrol.

Anyone else want to join me in this spree?

The Trooper was really cool about it, but let me know I needed to remedy the situation or next time it would not be a warning.

FYI... It was only a warning. In Iowa, for no front plate, the fine is $87 and it's NOT a moving violation.

Ricks told me it would ship per their conversation with the supplier, it was their statement in a phone conversation, it was in a phone conversation yesterday after an unanswered email that they told me their supplier was closed so theycouldnt tell me the status. Told me to email (Ill call AGAIN) on Monday. Asked for an additional discount didnt get a reply. They (ricks) should man up, tell me they will contact me, that they will follow through and get me a correct ship date. So James you see it is Ricks problem. If they would commit to purchase where they had some in stock to ship this wouldnt happen. Your not going to convince me it isnt their fault. So you and I can agree to disagree.
