Whatever, but to me that is nothing to worry about compared to what your car will see when you drive it. Bugs, dust, dirt, bird crap, pollen, rock chips, all part of owning a car...

Oh... I gotcha now. I thought I was just weird about touching the car when clean. I push on the key lock cylinder to usually close my door. These doors are big but still feel way lighter than some of my older cars.

Got it back last night after lower pulley, meth kit and tune. 730+ hp and 730 torque.

I expected to be close to but not quite 700 hp. I still have the same smile this morning.

I will be buying stock in a tire company on Monday.

Talking exhaust

Today I replaced my stock exhaust with a dynomax cat back with race bullet mufflers and also washed twice and waxed.I wash it in the dark to avoid water spots.I love my ss1.

Todays upgrade

Today I upgraded my stock exhaust to a dynomax cat back with race bullets.I also washed twice and waxed.I washed it in the dark to avoid water spots.Also I hope it's ok to ask this question?Does anyone know if it's possible to easily switch out mufflers on the dynomax systems?Or do the mufflers have to be cut off?

Rims and tires

Took off the factory silver 18" rims and put on a set of VMR 710 20" rims powder coated gloss black by a local shop.

Went out for a very nice morning cruise, hit my favorite breakfast burrito spot in Montebello, took this nice vid of the Silver Surfer;

Installed a Z/28 CAI. The sound under WOT is worth the investment in and of itself! I'm very satisfied.

added a 12" sub and amp, changed fog lights to brighter led bulbs that match the headlights and halos, and put on front tire air deflectors

Finally got the new rubber put on her. The grip and launch are night and day compared to the stock pirellis. Next task is to fill the gap.

Removed each wheel, scrubbed down, clay bar, polish, and waxed them. Started claying the rest of the car (new clay of course). Probably have to clay whole car, compound, polish, and wax. Previous owner had no idea how to properly care for a paint job, and I'm finally getting a little time off work here and there since moving and having this sweet shop to play in now. Time to bring her back to where she should be and maintain that.

Installed LED lights inside the engine compartment. There are two on the hood facing down and two right above the radiator.
