[QUOTE=booneSS13;9770259]Stay with M6! Autos may be faster but there's a lot more to be appreciated about hearing and seeing a fast stick shift going down to the track in my opinion. Plus sub 12 second m6's are becoming a rarity now which to me makes it that much more special. /QUOTE]

Yes sir I plan to stay with the M6!!

LOL, you can tell I am running out of things to say and killing time until Thursday when the tuner is back working on my project!

I am trying to take everything in. All the talk about how the power comes in linear on a ProCharger and that it felt "slow" on the street has me a bit worried.

With the Maggie, when I hit the accelerator that sucker was screaming instantly!! Guess I will soon see. LOL, I will probably be getting the car the same day I am leaving for vacation so I really wont have any time to drive the car until I get back!

Dude, get out of here.... 900rwhp doesn't "FEEL" Slow anywhere!!.......

You might get used to it, you might not get smacked in the face with torque off Idle... but nothing about that car will feel slow. in my very humble opinion.

Considering you like to drag race, I think it is the perfect setup for you and that M6.....1/2 mile you just have to worry about the Air (bubble) above 160mph.... but there are solutions for that too.

Start daydreaming more about 1.4x 60s and 9s!

Feels slow

Man everything feels slow after a while. That's why we keep making these things faster.

Save some of that vacation time for Bowling Green in July.

I'd like to see that hot rod run in person.

I hear ya bro but it will probably be later this week (Thurs/Fri) before I get to the shop. When/if I go to pick up the car, I will have so much running through my pea brain to discuss with them that I will be at risk of forgetting to inquire about the plug gap settings. Just being honest. That said . . . I will try to remember to ask for you.

I guess that is the next Camaro Fest you are talking about? The last one I made was when it came to Houston at Royal Purple Raceway. Still have the T-Shirt from that event, lol.

I was more into showing the car back then but when I finally figured out it will never be a show car, I decided to begin trying my luck at the track.

As most of us, I had very high expectations the first time out only to quickly get a big dose of reality. At the time I had ~ 600 rwhp and my first race was against a stock Camaro with many of my friends in the stands. Well lets see, on that first pass I hit the rev limiter twice, missed third gear, ran a 13+ sec ET, and was easily beaten by the stock Camaro

Progress at the track takes a lot of time, patience, learning, and making upgrades to the car. How in the heck did I get off on this subject?

Thanks for getting me refocused my friend!

Not sure with this set-up if a 1.4x 60' is in my cards but every once in a while I pull up this previous best time slip of mine to study the left lane (vette) stats and remember how he flew past me in the last 300' of track (just check out the video at the front of this thread)

I both treed and out 60'd him but look at the MPH difference at the 1/8 and 1/4 between the two of us. This is where I am hoping the ProCharger will help me. As I always say . . . Guess we will see!

You picked up more mph on the back half of the track than him.

He picked up 28.68MPH while you picked up 33.09mph.

I think you'll be pleased with the set up man, don't knock it will you try it lol. You're on a good start with the f1x, if you need more power under the curve you can always do the wastegate trick.

Bubble at 160? never heard of this

Hmmm I never really looked at that angle, although I got 31.09 instead of 33.09 but I get your point. All I know is he sucked my door in when he flew past.

Are you referring to overcoming drag at 160 mph?

Sorry for being off topic.
