Okay all these mods & I'm not getting faster. My first post of a personal best time in this thread was post 135 It was a 9.1547. I just got all these mods: ARH long tubes, high flow cats, & H pipe & HP dyno tune and my best time was 9.1830. It was about 68 degrees that day around that time. I know a lot of factors play into these things but the weather was good both days, same track. I was really hoping for more improvement. What am I going to have to do to get in this list? What lack I yet?

Looking at your 1/8 mile ET, i would say your car is running right around a 13.9 - 14.0, which isn't terrible... however like you said, you added the new mods and seen, IMHO, zero improvement... to be honest, i'm not really surprised... One of the reasons i let my Camaro go... tired of beating my head on the wall... argh! The LLT never responded to mods the way i thought they should... As far as getting on the list... guessing lighter weight wheels, probably skinnies up front... Ice down your intake... and most importantly, find a day with a very negative DA... Something like Black Friday at Atco, where the DA might be a -2000!

I looked at the info on both of your posts Ruby. The DA were close as scrming posted. (See photos below.) I got differant results too, not sure why. Someones input was off? However it was slightly worse after all the mods. However, you're info you posted in 135 was not accurate for the input information. scrming and I use the DA calculator from this site. http://www.dragtimes.com/da-density-...calculator.php Maybe the fuel was worse this time and was pulling timing?

Thanks for looking up the DA stuff guys, I just have not had time & thanks for the link. I had lost the one I used last time anyway.
I don't think there was much wind either day if I recall correctly. The thing about this track is it gets dewy & slick as the temps go down. There were lower temps & better DA's as the evening progressed but harder to get a grip. The last 2 runs, first one I chirped the tires a bit & the last, spun them a little so 60 ft suffered. I had removed my spare tire for runs at LS fest but it was hot as H-E double hockey sticks up there. I left the spare in and did have about 3/4 of a tank of gas (accidentally added more than I meant to) at MCR. I figured I needed the weight of the tire in the back to help me get traction on the hill. I also could have probably used a little less air in my back tires. But is there anything more (other than any tweaks to the HP tune as it gets finished up & out of Beta & tires/wheels) I can do to the car? At the track someone said better spark plugs & wires but on C5 folks usually have said that doesn't make much difference. Clean the MAF? Check the throttle body maybe. I have a catch can but did not have it from the very beginning; one of the first mods though. I may send the info to my tuner & see what he thinks too. Any input appreciated.
