I saw that one in my looking around. It might be to much to get all generations in. But I'll see what I can do.

Hey everyone,
This is Kathryn again on Kurt's username...I probably should get my own, haha. I was having some fun playing around this morning; I decided to try a more round shape just for kicks. We have an old school Chevy magnet on our fridge I drew some inspiration from. Thank you for all the feedback so far, I'm having a lot of fun coming up with new ideas. But here's two more for you to look at...I'll be messing around with different fonts too, I haven't really changed those up since my few logo ideas. Thanks! Happy Saturday!

HOLY SNIKEYS!!I have to admit yours are more LOGO-ish. I would say either your 3rd one from before or your red one. Mine and Sauron's would make good tee-shirts. I think at out next meet we'll get some pictures. Here is where mine is right now. Mind you this is rough...working on limited time.

The Bowtie Issue...
I am only trying to protect the winning designer from getting involved in a legal issue.
![]() The Chevrolet Bowtie is the world’s most recognizable automotive symbol. Chevrolet has every right to protect and regulate how it is portrayed and when and where it is used. Dealers are not even allowed to legally place their dealership’s name inside the bowtie. We are no different, and those who have used the bowtie in an inappropriate way just haven’t gotten caught. I have been informed that when we come up with some designs, I can submit them for review and approval. It may be acceptable to use the bowtie as long as we avoid putting anything inside the bowtie. I don’t blame Chevrolet for wanting to have control over their logo’s use. If I had worked that hard to build a company, I would want to make sure that my logo was copyrighted, trademarked, only went places I approved and was not compromised in its portrayal. Do not let this discourage you from submitting ideas! Just take it into consideration while you are brainstorming. No Biggie. Thanks y’all!

Don, Perhaps you are taking this to the extreme (i'm trying to be respectful saying it that way). Copyrights, logos, trademarks, research and design and patents are not free. The aforementioned cost the auto companies billions worldwide each year. They pass those expenses on to each of us because this is a business. With that said, they own the rights, they control the rights. As Mimi stated earlier, we as dealers are limited (in my example) to use Toyota's logos/name in our advertising. Dealerships do have operating agreements to use their logo/name under controlled situations. As an example, I am building a parts web site and I can not use Toyota's logos or name in my url. Toyota is more demanding than Chevrolet from what I can see. When I met you at Pensacola, you had concerns about your Toyota Venza and dealer as you are now with your Cheverolet Camaro and dealer. Perhaps the problem lies elsewhere. With that said, take a deep breath and remember we are all on here for fun and to have a good time. FYI...using Toyota's logo in your post is against their policy and procedures even. Still think GM is so bad?

The one Hazman did is another good Tee-Shirt GFX.
I believe Kathryn's would be a good choice of a logo. Either one or both of the top images....and then Hazman and Steelsinger/Sauron for Tee-Shirts. Not sure if Haz would charge us for use of the GFX though.
